A Time to Whine

Enough rain already! Go away tropical storm.

It’s wet as all get out, the horse stalls are flooded and the border collies are going crazy!

Lord is it humid!

The rain screwed up my 7:33 AM tee time.

Oh I dread winter! It’s always gray, wet, and cold. Thank Pfizer for antidepressants.

Enough whining for now, I must hire someone soon. I am beginning to fall off my mental vacation.

No, here’s some more whining.

I am actually paying the bills for the first time. I have always had someone do it for me.

It’s absurd how much businesses get charged for service versus residential service. For example my broadband connection here at work is 89.95. The TV cable here is $69.95. This is highway robbery. The same service is about half that cost at home.

Mecklenburg County has a tax called a “privilege tax”. This gives me the privilege of doing business in their county. It’s $342.52 per year. Oh thank you Mecklenburg County.

The rent is $2,540.10 a month. Crap almighty! I could buy another house for what it costs me to have a place to meet people. Every friggin month! I’m nowhere near the expensive district either.

I’ve got to lie down.

Zig and I were brainstorming ways for you to save money.
One thing we came up with was to get rid of your cable tv package. Why are you watching tv at work anyways? He, He.
Hmmm, maybe I should come and work for you, if I get to watch tv and have a 'porn button' on my mouse I'd work for next to nothing.
I'm so excited about that idea that I have to go lie down now too!

Hello there, I have been following your blog for a little while now. It caught my attention b/c we are planning a move to the Charlotte area soon. I enjoy your sense of humor and it is interesting to me to hear about Charlotte. We were just there for the 1st time this past holiday weekend for 5 days staying with friends who showed us the area. We fell in love with the Huntersville area. So anyhow I thought it was interesting that you mentioned Mecklenburg b/c I just learned all about it. We currently live in Holland, Michigan and as soon as a job opens up for my husband, we will go forward with our move. Anyway, I just thought I would introduce myself and besides that...it feels kinda like spying or something when reading someone's blog for a while and not letting them know you are...or maybe that's just me. Thanks again for all of the laughs!
