11 things....

I have held a human skull and thought often about that person.

I have eaten a possum.

I have killed a squirrel and a rabbit by throwing a rock. I ate the squirrel. I was on a survival camping trip.

I once bathed in a pond in February and thought I was going to die from cold.

I have seen and experienced a total eclipse of the sun.

I've had a friend who was murdered.

I have always lived in North Carolina with the exception that I was born in Virginia. I move to North Carolina as an infant.

I find that the older I get the less I think about death. It is a given.

I eventually get bored with most things except family and my wife.

I once helped a man with one arm pull up his pants and zip them up. Think about how hard that would be with one hand.

I can remember pretty well back to age 3 and some sketchy memories earlier.

Very interesting. Who was murdered? Are you referring to Jan that was out neighbor? Why were you holding a man with one hand zipping him up with the other??

Oh, and add to that thing about getting bored with most things except you wife and family....Add St. croix. You will never get bored with that I don't think!!!

My friend who was a contractor in Iraq.

The guy was in a bathroom and had been on the toilet and I watched him repeatedly try and pull up his pants, button them, and zip them up with one hand while we waited in line to use the toilet.

I asked if I could help and he was grateful.

On a dare...I dove off a dock into a New Hampshire lake 3 days after the ice melted. Before my feet made it into the water my arms and torso were headed back to the dock.

so, you still haven't given the details of the 12/14 random facts, and you give us another list?

I will Mark. I have been too lazy to write the details.

My sister Judy knew a lot of the first one and laughed at the facts about me she had forgotten.

I understand the part about being lazy. I want to blog more, just can't seem to get up the effort to type out a post.

I've helped a lot of people pull their pants up. Better up than down, I always say....

The only people that I have helped pull up their pants are under 3 feet tall. Ha Ha.
