Winter Diving for a Quarry Cowboy

The tailgate grills are set up and the brats and oysters are cooking.

John stirs some killer chili he made. It was a big hit after the cold quarry dive.

A pan of the idiots like me that showed up on a winter day to dive 42 degree water.

My dive buddy Bruce warms his body with some hot chili. Gotta say this is one tough dude. He dove in a wet suit.

My set up to the right of Bruce before the dive.

Looks like the camera works great!

Gotta say, however: Chili and wetsuits do not a good-sounding combination make.
