4 inches in a day? Wow, that is going some.
It never rains in Bondovia, but we have been known to be nuzzled by the sweet whiskers of a fine Autumnal mist.
The river here is still WAY above normal pool, many docks still under water. TVA is full time managing to get the volume of the whole river in control, before the next "rain event," as their calling them this year! Sounds like you had an "event."
