Port In A Storm

For 23 years I have maintained a heliport on my property to receive friends and family.

Back during Hurricane Hugo the heliport was shut down for almost 2 months from fallen trees.

Recently fellow blogger Mic came by and cleared some debris that had fallen on my landing space.

Unfortunately, the crowds I run with cannot, or will not, buy a helicopter.

I just may withdraw the offer going forward, and expect you to visit by motor car only. It is expensive to maintain a heliport.
