Have you noticed everyone is kind of angry lately? Just plain old negative thinking?
Why harbor anger over something that you have no control over? Taxes, the government, idiots, big business, weather, whatever.
It will kill you having all that rage streaming from your thoughts. It cultivates sinister behavior. Let it go just for a day.
Think your dog or cat is sitting around all pissed off and worried? Now who is wiser?
Now be nice, say something nice to someone. Smile.

Good point, as individuals we have little control over some things.
But anger is a natural feeling. It's a part of us. I don't feel I should ignore something that I've grown with all these years. Anger comes from deep inside, and I believe it should not be ignored. We are human! Anger! Sorrow! Happiness! Love! Despair!
Expressing anger is not negative, it's just being human.
I was nice today. I made up for my behavior this past weekend, I promise ;-)
I go with that, although there is a lot of crap around right now that tries the best of us.
Lets see...I have a MIL that has just flipped her wig, a BC that started having seizures again last night, a two day deadline on some continuing education credits that must be done, plus oil draining in the golf, a government that doesn't have a clue how to stimulate the economy, and I have a full schedule today. Oh...is it really necessary that I pay 8.25% sales tax on everything I buy after I have already paid taxes to the feds and the state? that leaves me about 50 cents on the dollar after my FICA match if I'm lucky. I ain't bitchin' just pointing out my potential.
...my mother used to say, "...make nice"...
Remember our Mother giving you "sweet pills"? It always made you smile.
I'm with Micky-T's take on anger. I love to get out my frustrations, but I usually do try to vent it with a side of wit.
