My bride has been sick for 2 weeks...ever since I was in St Croix. It seems she had the swine flu, made a very brief recovery then started slipping into pneumonia. We loaded her with antibiotics and inhalers and will keep her in bed for a few more days.

The poor lady. This is scarey stuff. I was concerned about being on a plane with all that recycled air - like you were - but she is the one that got sick, not you. Go figure...

It is the first time in more than two weeks that she agreed to go to the doctor. This morning she is much improved. Thank you CMC. They had all her records and notes stored electronically so the doctor jumped in from a point of knowledge even though he had never met her. I was impressed. A shot to the butt, some inhalation therapy and she was getting to her old self in no time.
I heard an interesting fact this morning on the drive in. A new study backed out cigarette smoking deaths and found that the US health system ranks among the top when compared to the rest of the world backing out cigarettes. Plus....our diverse culture has two major subcultures that decides differences by shooting each other. Back those out and we are top of the heap.
