coffee and bananas

I just discovered this morning that my wife has a secrete stash of Edison light bulbs and plans to use them in defiance of federal law. There are piles of 40s, 60s, 75s, 100s and 3 ways all ready to use and throw off the light man was intended to have.

I’d guess we need a footlocker full in addition to take us to our dirt nap.

When I was younger I used to worry about getting enough coffee and bananas. I reasoned that because they were such an exotic items that any interruption in transportation would interrupt my coffee and bananas.

Looks like I’ll have plenty of both for the foreseeable future.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think that Girl Scout cookies and light bulbs would be threatened. The girl scout cookies suck now.

As a former Girl Scout, I'll concur - they aren't what they used to be when I hawked 'em.

Hey there - I wandered over from Coffeypot's blogroll. Enjoyed my visit, I'll be back soon! Maybe even bring my dog for a playdate. :)

I hadn't noticed that Girl Scout cookies sucked. I like the new lemon cremes.

We are never able to use up our bananas before they get over ripe. We eat a lot of banana bread.

I peel and feeze my excess bananas and throw them in the blender (magic bullet) with milk, yogurt, vanilla soy milk and what ever else might be good and make a smoothie. The frozen banana makes it like a milkshake.
Or another good mix is frozen banana, tsp. peanut butter, tsp. honey and cup of milk. Best banana nut smoothie

I've been using the new fangled light bulbs for 3 years. There's nothing wrong with them. I'm still on the first round I put in 3 years ago. And, they give off the same amount of light. They take a bit to warm up, but then the light is just fine.

I really don't understand all the opposition to them.

Girl Scout cookies do suck. And they're ridiculously overpriced.
