Christmas

Christmas is the only holiday that inclement weather is ideal weather. Nobody hopes for thunderstorms on Independence Day.

And who besides me is sick of the holiday car commercials? Who ever got a new car for Christmas? Especially a Lexis? Wrapped in fleece?

We don't wish for inclement weather for Christmas around here. Sunny, blue skies, a few puffy clouds would be great. A light refreshing breeze, high in the upper 80s is just perfect for a Buck Island Christmas kayak day.

Only a little snow and only if I was "in" the Christmas Spirit.

I understand Michael, you just can't stand to not rub it in. I'd be the same way if I was down there year round.

Shelly & the kids are spending the week between Christmas & New Years at the ranch. I gave some thought to buying her a new Toyota Sienna and surprising her with it when I go back for New Years to get them.

Then I remembered that she HATES minivans...

I kinda like the Sonata commercial with the young hippie/bohemian couple singing Christmas carols, playing different instruments, and acting silly fighting over the car. A different take than the big red bow schlock.

I'd like one wrapped in bacon.
