1964

In 1964, in the 3rd grade at Club Blvd Elementary in Durham, NC, I discovered in Miss Thurston’s slow reader class that if I took off my shoes and squeezed my toes, I could get a relief by popping the joints.

I do it still to this day.

I am still a slow reader but my feet feel good.

Popping toe joints? That is a new one to me! Do they make a sound like someone cracking knuckles?

A piggy popper?

Really? Just by curling them?
