Three Things I have Learned That I will Share

I made a sour dough starter from wild yeast. Amazing how this works.

If you need spreadable butter but it is all cold then grab a stick and use a cheese grater. It becomes spreadable and actually presents well.

I saw this morning where a big generous line of cream cheese on a hot dog is very good. The guy was putting it on with a cake decorator gun. I’ll try this.

Gigi smelled a dead mouse in the kitchen and discovered a few days later that my unattended sour dough starter was rotten. Gotta keep feeding it I suppose.

Great idea for cold butter! I can't tell you how often that happens at our house.

No more sweating that Terri. It works like a charm.

I saw a TV show where a guy was making a sour dough starter. Looked interesting - his didn't go rotten, though, but I guess things never go wrong on TV cookery shows. Except for that one episode of The Galloping Gourmet where a saucepan exploded, showering him and the cameramen with hot food!

If we had a dead mouse, I suspect that Frou Frou would eat it :-(
