My kid would be busy whipping up some banana bread as soon as she saw these!

Ever notice that bananas bruise even quicker when put in the fridge?

Bananas are the hemophiliacs of the fruit world.

Make some nice smoothies (or banana rum drinks). Or peel them, chop them up and freeze them for future smoothies (or banana rum drinks).

Chris, tropical fruit should NEVER be put into the fridge.

I'll take a picture of the banana graveyard in my freezer for you - I shed a tear every time I look in there.

And Terry, I swear, we don't keep bananas in the fridge at home! Apparently that's something my husband has started doing at work - weirdo!

No Jay it's a fruit basket.

Normally the basket is full of apples but since the horses are at band camp the supply has dwindled.

Ali-Just having tropical fruit on your kitchen counter up there this time of year is probably enough to make them very sad.

I would suggest that you resurrect the freezer fruit, mix them with fresh fruit, and concoct a lovely new frozen cocktail.

We use rum because we're in the tropics, but Canada is cold, like Russia, so vodka would work as well ;-)...
