That's all wonderful and beautiful but I didn't see one roadside local business, that's too bad.
Don't know why they omitted that.
Are you talking about small vendors that sell roasted corn, or BBQ , or conch and lobster, local hand made goods? They are there.
All the hotels they showed except the casino were locally owned.
The dive shops are local.
The horse people and camp sites were local.
The rum is local.
I agree with you about the styro, Wreg. I saw that and had to take a break.
Also, the ATVs and Jeeps piss me off.
Hi Reggie and Terri and STX friends, wanted to say THANKS for posting our video and join in the comments I saw.
The styro cups are a shame, BUT that is the ultimate roadside stop - the best smoothies on St. Croix all from 7 different fruits grown on her property in the rainforest. That woman and her smoothie won at Taste of St. Croix 2010! Other than the styro cups, she is the epitome of Crucian... an islander with a great product, friendly attitude, and green lifestyle. Maybe she should find some new cups to use!
This video is about the things to do and kind of things there are to do on St. Croix (paid for by the hoteliers) so jeep tours, atv's - these are all unique to the island of St. Croix.
Love the feedback - the good, bad, and ugly.
