Saturday Butt Rub


A Boston Butt shoulder from Wal-Mart for $1.95 a pound. Sliced fresh garlic inserted in the meat. Nice store bought pork rub all over.


Chunks of apple wood are collected to smoke the pork. (Hey Mic...we cooked oysters on that blade.)




The pork is cooking via rotisserie for about 3 hours. Not BBQ but still the fats will render some tender and moist meat with layers of flavor. 




The butt is spinning.



The butt is smoking. Life is good. Results posted later if I remember and don't Hoover it all up.


Oh baby...here it is! The dogs are sitting around worshiping the grill. Soon! Very soon after it rests.

yum,yum,yum. Looks like you and Phfrankie are both into the spin action. Will have to try that someday. I can just see the dogs paying homage to the grill, whilst licken thier chops.
