The pizza was good. First they brought the wrong pizza and they said keep it and they’ll bring the right order in a while. Both the right and the wrong order were delicious and very fresh tasting.
But what irritates me now days is the way pizzas are cut. Someone a few years ago decide the traditional wedge wasn’t cool anymore and they decided to cut pizzas in little squares.
Technically speaking this sucks. Now with these little squares you get sauce and ingredients all over your hand. No longer is it finger food. Gone are the days when you could neatly grab a piece of pizza by the crust and begin the slow nibble down to the crust.
I hate it too if I am in a hotel and order a pizza and they never bring a napkin. Then I have to use a wash cloth as a napkin while I think about who used this cloth on what. Plus I think about what the maid thinks I did with the wash cloth. This all causes me stress.
If they would cut the pizza correctly like God intended then I wouldn't need a napkin.

It's a bad a ding to cut a pizza like a dat.
Hey Reggie, glad you liked the pizza! Donatos was founded here in Columbus and is our hometown favorite...my fave is the "Serious Cheese"! Didn't know they had expanded as far as NC!
God clearly intended pizza to be cut into wedges, not squares.
"And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor." (Joshua 7:24)
I don't see anything about "squares" of gold in there. And thus it is written.
Cutting the pizza into wedges like normal is way better.
I can't stand it when they don't bring napkins on hotel deliveries either. That's rude.
I would bet your could request they cut it the other way and they would. I agree with you on that!!
It's pizza. I don't care how they cut it. If it's too messy, I use a fork.
Kuckie, Gigi and I were up in Ohio a few years ago in the RV for a cross stitch gathering. We traveled to Lancaster and Columbus and all points in between.
Gigi’s first class was at a “museum” that we saw upon further reading was the home of General Sherman. General Sherman to a southerner is about as warm and fuzzy as Hitler.
Our southern roots run deep and stories of Sherman burning and pillaging throughout North Carolina and Georgia were still too fresh in out minds. Yes I know it has been many years but these stories were passed down in our families from eye witnesses.
So she politely bowed out of that class knowing she would cause a scene if she entered the property.
Other than that…Ohio is a lovely State.
Aw hell, Reggie...I'm doomed forever. Not only am I of German descent, I'm white, and a Yankee to boot!!! Nastiness must run deep in my blood. Guess I'll never have any friends! HA! ;0)
BTW, did she have any classes at Cross My Heart in Columbus? That's my favorite cross-stitch store!
I have noticed that thin crust is usually cut in squares and I rather like it. I tend to cut my pizza and eat it with a fork anyway like a pansy cuz I think itm akes it taste better. To me crust is a waste so if I can get a piece surrounded by 4 sides of nothing but cheese, I am gonna take it!
That is rather panzy I must say.
The crust is just as much of a pizza as the crispy is part of fried chicken.
I have a friend that removes all the good part of fried chicken and eats nothing but the slick leftover shiney meat he has uncovered.
I suggest you put away your fork young man and eat Pizza like a man.
I LOVE Donatoes!! They didn't do well here in my parts so they closed and I was SO BUMMED! I LOVE their pizza.
I also can't stand when they cut it in squares... If I try a new place and my pizza arrives in squares I will never order from them again...
