Pointed Shoes II

I have expressed my strong dislike of the pointed shoes women are wearing.

First I guess the pointed shoe reminds me of the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz. That was not a good look.

Second, I am a foot guy....not in a creepy freaky way. I think most feet are pretty and sexy just like other parts of women. Ball them up to a point...not so sexy.

Let me tell you what I saw last week...I almost did a flip. There was a woman who had her feet done with that French finish....you know where the exposed nail is painted white. She had on pointed shoes with an open toe. The big toe and second toes were exposed with the French Nails and I swear it looked like a cloven hoof on a she devil. Not a good look.

I hope I don't have to get used to cloven hooves on women. I swear I'll start wearing chicken feet.

If I had my way, I'd wear flip-flops year round.

Hey Wreggie,

Pardon me for just dropping in but Hope, at Hope Radio, urged me to stop by and read your stuff. I have been reading a few of your older post and I’m glad she sent me your way. I’ll be back!

As for today’s post, I don’t understand the need for pointed toe shoes, other than they are great for killing roaches in the corner. It seems to me that those type shoes are on the same level as Chinese foot binding. It is just not natural for the foot to be bent, squeezed and compressed just to make a fashion statement. I love high-heals because the make her butt stick out, and I don’t honestly look at the shoes. Wearing high-healed sneakers seems more comfortable and logical to me…a man.

Stop by for a cup of coffee sometimes.

I am with you Terri about wishing you could just always wear flip flops!

I love high heels but they do not love me. Anytime you are putting 5 toes in a space for 2 toes, there will be pain involved at some point. After decades of wearing them, I'm done. Right now, sandals, flip flops and barefoot suit me just fine.

And, Wreggie, because I have not seen St. Croix, I'm leaning toward St. John. Love it.

Amy I always tend to hang out in a place where I could afford to live. St John would be out of the question unless I planned to be homeless.
