Damn it I am sick of cold cloudy weather while spring unfolds before me. The trees are foliating, the azaleas are blooming, and the grass is green.
I’ve been a good sport but my patience has run out. Come on sweet summer.
This morning I got an email from Kim down on the island and she is sending me a tee shirt her friend makes that says, “Born Again Cruzan”. How nice.

I hear you! We have been getting spurts of really nice weather but nothing that sticks around. I am ready for constant sunny and 80 degree days! Then bring on the hot summer and the pool!
I'm with you! We had absolutely GORGEOUS weather on Saturday, then it rained all day Sunday, then it was back in the thirties yesterday. Today there is rain and/or snow predicted. ENOUGH! Once again I have to ask myself WHY I live here! Oh yeah... family, job, etc. etc. I'm ready to retire and move someplace warm.
That is cool! (license tag and shirt) I am with you on wanting sunshine. All of this dreary weather will make us appreciate it all the more!!
Just for the record, we've been having some dreary weather here. Remember how cold it was when you were here in February? This last week has been even colder and more windy.
Wreg - you've gotten more use outta your new boat since you got it than I have in mine all year :(
Its finally starting to clear up and get warmer. We're hoping it'll be nice enough by Saturday to take our next sailing lesson.
It's the same here. It's so dark right now at 9:25 am it looks like midnight around here. We get two days of nice weather and then four days of clouds and rain. Yuk!
It's not too bad here now. Except for the planes cropdusting all over town.
They're not going to nail ya for putting that plate on the front of your Jeep like an actual license tag?
If the Feds come knocking on my door, " I doan know nothin' ".
No, we only have a rear NC plate and an NC inspection sticker on the windshield.
On the front they allow outboard motors, stickers, plates, etc.
Where'd Kim get the T-shirt? We may not be "born here" or "bahn 'ya" like the Cruzan's say, but we are born again here (and baptized with rum)!
We need some of those shirts....
Kim has a friend making them. I thought it was very clever. Call Kim at Coldwell Banker Land-de Wilde Realty, Gallows Bay Marketplace.
Tell her Wreggie sent you and I said duh huh. She's from Spartanburg, SC, she'll know what I mean.
