Some Good News

I put my ramp in place today and it works better than I expected and it didn’t install as I expected. It’s difficult to custom build something 200 miles away from memory but it works just fine.

Best of all the ramp will break down in three sections at about 45 lbs each for moving.

Even better news is my sewer valve repair wasn’t as severe as feared. I ordered two new extension rods today that I can screw on the next trip down.

Finally the ultimate in ruintness…..this is on the door of my RV.

Got it at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in Hilton Head, SC. Call 'em at (843) 681-3256 and tell them a little Yankee girl on the west coast wants one. $3 each plus shipping.

No you are from Texas...right?

Does that thing span the entire state?

Your dogs will not survive the trek along the 50 mile .5% sloping trail to the RV, unless you....

make sure you put rest stops with snacks and water at 5 yard intervals ;) !

Seems like it might have been easier to put in an elevator for that 18" climb....

I'll have you know that it is a 36 inch rise and it appear longer in the photo. Actually it is about 12 feet long.

I made it gradual Miss smarty pants so my old gal peaches could walk up without decompression problems like nosebleeds or the bends.

Oh you are a riot....

Actually it would span the entire state of Delaware.

I might start calling it the Boardwalk, or better refer to it as walking the plank.
