A Good Thing....

If you are a regular reader, you know I like to share good ideas and recipes when I find them. Today’s recipe is Christmas spiced Rum.

Buy a liter or 5th of Cruzan Dark Rum. It is not at all expensive, usually about $16 here on the mainland. It costs about $7 at Kmart on St Croix.

Then find one vanilla bean (not so easy to find), 3 to 4 cinnamon sticks, and 5 or 6 whole cloves.

Pour out enough rum to make room for the spices. I suggest a rum and coke at this point.

Now put in the spices and seal the bottle until Christmas. Mix the spiced rum with eggnog. It will blow you away with flavor.
