Male Mutilation

I realized that whether one is circumcised or not is not a topic to be discussed in polite society. Read no further if topic bothers you.

Does it make since that in the United States that a whole generations of men have had their penises docked like a dog’s tail?

Without any for thought, every little boy gets his God given parts cut off for no reason?

Does anyone even remember what a natural penis is supposed to look like?

It really pisses me off that I was circumcised when I was an infant without my permission. How is it, that society can accept chopping off part of the penis of helpless little baby boy, and no one but me is outraged? I have heard all the arguments for being circumcised.

Instead of being circumcised, I would rather have a permanent tattoo down there that says, “Wash daily using soap and water”.

Now you know how I feel about that.

I can hear Gigi now saying, “I can’t believe you blogged about that. Gross!”

As a soon-to-be Mom again, I understand your point and have been wrestling with this for weeks.
I just keep hoping we have a girl.
Michael wavers as well. At least we ARE giving forethought to the foreskin issue. I wonder if there are some sacrifices we could make to the goddesses to be sure we get a baby a girl.
Peter insists that he's happy his parents paid the extra to have the surgery done on him. He talks about it frequently. In a few weeks we should know the gender of our child.....If it's a boy, we'll be searching the internet for info and polling our friends.....

I say let the little fella go natural if it's a boy.

Gigi said Peter and I are two peas in a pod. Only Reggie and Peter would openly discuss foreskin issues.

Tru dat, me son.

Oh my gosh Reg!!! I cannot even imagine you not being "mutilated"!Not being so seems kind of nasty to me & I don't think I would care for it at all ! So maybe you should be HAPPY? Plus it's Biblical, even though we are not of the Jewish faith,we are children of Jesus Christ,King of the Jews !So Chop, chop is my opinion, LOL.

Holy! Finally someone that is actually on MY side about this!
I do know what a "natural" penis is supposed to look like - it's not too shabby. People that are all about thinking an uncircumcised penis is dirty maybe just haven't been taught to bathe properly.
And it will be over my dead body that any son of mine will be circumcised. I'm lucky though, as Chris agrees with me on this.

In Canada it gets very cold during the winter - so little "peter" needs all the extra skin to stay warm. (no offence to anyone with the name Peter) - anyway, so I'm also a supporter of the Natural Train -

I stumled across this blog a while back and read it regularly. Just when I thought every conceivable subject had been covered...

I have to say I think Gigi is onto something about some women being turned off by one that has not been "mutilated".

I wouldn't want my son to ever get denied access because of a decision I made.

We had our boys circumcised, and I felt awful about it. But, I guess we just let the doctor convince us it was the right thing to do, and so we did. I would not do it again.

He would kill me if he knew that I was sharing this, but Monkey Boy is in the circumcised camp. As a matter of fact, he kind of sort had to go through it twice as they didn't do it right the first time. When he had the 'repair job' done when he was 3, he was so proud of it, he kept dropping his pants to show people how pretty it was! As a matter of fact, he showed a friend of ours in the middle of Walmart! After that I had to explain to him that everyone didn't want to see his perfect wee wee!

I've heard horror stories about botched circumcisions, where they've removed more than they should have.

I love that excuse "Uncircumcised men are dirtier." It's called showering, and we all do it.

To each their own but I say "keep the skinz!!"
